Meet Dr. Orlick
Dr. Katherine A. Orlick, M.D. is a board-certified dermatologist in Tucson and one of the founders of Foothills Dermatology & Facial Plastic Surgery. Born on the East Coast, she later relocated to the Phoenix area with her family.
She is a graduate of Duke University with a bachelors of science in biomedical engineering. She received her medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, graduating with high honors. She then returned to Arizona to complete a pediatric residency at the University of Arizona. While a pediatric resident, she received several teaching awards. Dr. Orlick completed a second residency, dermatology, also from the University of Arizona. Dr. Orlick is Board Certified in both Pediatrics and Dermatology.
Upon completing her medical training, Dr. Orlick began practicing dermatology in Tucson. She was Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Arizona for approximately one and a half years before joining a local large dermatology group. In the fall of 2007 she, with long-time friend and mentor Dr. Jerold Olson, founded Foothills Dermatology and Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Orlick is one of only a few dermatologists in Southern Arizona who specializes in Pediatric Dermatology. Dr. Orlick also treats adult populations, specializing in general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Orlick is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a member of the Tucson Dermatology Society where she has served as treasurer since 2008. She is involved with several volunteer organizations here in Tucson, including staffing a dermatology clinic at St. Elizabeth's of Hungary and an annual skin cancer screening clinic at the Arizona Desert Museum.
Dr. Orlick has been married for fifteen years to LTC Douglas Little, M.D. Dr. Little is the State Surgeon for the Arizona Army National Guard. They live here in Tucson with their four children, where she enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family.
