Rigorous Education & Training

Dr. Katherine Orlick is a graduate of Duke University with a bachelors of science degree in biomedical engineering. She received her medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, graduating with high honors. She then returned to Arizona to complete a pediatric residency at the University of Arizona. While a pediatric resident, she received several teaching awards. Dr. Orlick completed a second residency, dermatology, also from the University of Arizona. She earned board certification in both pediatrics and dermatology.

Achievements as a Dermatologist

Upon completing her medical training, Dr. Orlick began practicing dermatology in Tucson. She was the Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the University of Arizona for approximately one and a half years before joining a local large dermatology group. In the fall of 2007 she, with long-time friend and mentor Dr. Jerold Olson, founded Foothills Dermatology and Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Orlick is one of only a few dermatologists in Southern Arizona who specializes in pediatric dermatology. Dr. Orlick also treats adult populations, specializing in general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology treatments.

Dr. Orlick is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is a member of the Tucson Dermatology Society. She is involved with several volunteer organizations here in Tucson, including staffing an annual skin cancer screening clinic at the Arizona Desert Museum.

From 2015-2018, Dr. Orlick was selected each year by her fellow physicians as one of the Best Doctors in America®. Family & Personal Interests

Dr. Orlick has been married for over 20 years to LTC Douglas Little, M.D., who is a Concierge Physician at Executive Healthcare & Aviation Medicine, and previously was the State Surgeon for the Arizona Army National Guard. They live here in Tucson with their 4 children, where Dr. Orlick enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family.
